How do I weigh-in and receive my body measurements?

Once you’ve successfully completed a weigh-in, your body measurements will be available in your MyHealth app. To complete your weigh-in, perform the following steps:

  1. Open your FitTrack MyHealth app. The MyHealth app must remain open during the entire weigh-in process

  2. Ensure that your scale is connected by viewing the connection status at the top of the My Day homepage

  3. Step on the scale, and your weight will be displayed

  4. The scale will then display flashing zeroes while it analyzes your body composition

  5. Continue to stay standing on the scale until the measurement process is completed

  6. Your My Health app will automatically direct you to your weigh-in results within the body measurements card

A few things to consider:

  • For the most accurate results, we recommend weighing in at the same time every day, ideally first thing in the morning

  • It’s okay if your weight and other metrics fluctuate a little bit from weigh-in to weigh-in; this can be a result of what you ate, drank, or other factors

I'm not receiving measurements and/or am getting an error during weigh-in. What can I do?

There’s a number of factors that could be impacting your scales ability to display your measurements. If you are experiencing this, start by doing the following:

  2. Force close the FitTrack MyHealth app, then reopen the app

  3. Verify that your scale is connected by viewing the connection status at the top of the app on the My Day homepage. Your scale will show as connected along with a green checkmark

  4. Ensure you are doing your weigh-in barefoot and that the scale is placed on a hard flat surface

If you continue to have issues, we’d suggest uninstalling your scale and reconnecting it to your MyHealth app by doing the following:

  1. Ensure that your scale is connected

  2. Select your scale at the top of the app on the My Day homepage

  3. Select your scale within the connected devices page

  4. Select Forget Device (orange print) and confirm to forget device

If you have successfully resolved the error, you’ll be able to complete your weigh-in using the following steps:

  1. Step on the scale, and your weight will be displayed

  2. The scale will then display flashing zeroes while it analyzes your body composition

  3. Please stay standing on the scale until the measurement process is completed. This process can take up to 10 seconds

  4. Your MyHealth app will automatically be directed to your weigh-in results within the body measurements card

Valid instances of an error message:

  • Weight has exceeded the scale’s capacity (max of 400 lbs / 181.437 kgs)

  • Weight doesn’t meet the minimal amount (6.6 lbs / 2.99371 kgs)

  • Scale cannot make contact with your bare feet. In this instance, wipe down the scale & your feet with a damp cloth and try to weigh-in again

  • The battery is nearing the end of its life and needs to be replaced

  • Instability error (scale is on an uneven surface, ex: carpet)

How do I migrate my data and history from FitTrack Pro to FitTrack MyHealth?

Your data transfer depends on whether you previously linked your FitTrack Pro app to Apple Health or Google Fit. Your data will move with you from the point you link your FitTack Pro app to your Google / Apple Health accounts and will be available in the MyHealth app when you move.

If you have not yet migrated to the FitTrack MyHealth app, perform the following steps.

  1. Close the FitTrack Pro app on your phone (make sure it is not running in the background).

  2. Download the FitTrack MyHealth from the App or Play Store and login using your FitTrack Pro email

  3. Complete your onboarding journey and connect your scale

  4. Head to the “Profile” tab in the bottom right app bar and link Apple or Google under "Connected Apps"

  5. After connecting, select the "Data Migration" box shown in the image below and select "Ok" to start the data transfer

  6. Once complete, your historical data should display in MyHealth. If it doesn’t, you can always reach out to our support team at  support@getfittrack.com

If you have already moved over to the MyHealth app but still need to transfer over your FitTrack Pro data, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the FitTrack MyHealth app

  2. Select your Profile in the bottom right app bar

  3. Scroll down to "connected apps"

  4. Select the connected app box

  5. Toggle on Apple Health or Google Fit if you are not already connected.

  6. Select the "Data Migration" box shown in the image below

  7. Select "Ok" to start the data transfer

Q: Do I have to make the switch? What happens if I don’t.

Yes! MyHealth is the new version of our FitTrack app that offers our users many more features and benefits than the current app. In the coming months, we’ll be moving our entire FitTrack community from FitTrack pro to MyHealth. Soon the FitTrack pro app will no longer work, so you must sync your data and move over to MyHealth ahead of time.

Q: How do I avoid losing data in the switch to MyHealth?

Your data will move with you from the point you link your FitTack Pro to your Google / Apple Health accounts and will be available in MyHealth when you move. If you have not yet connected the FitTrack Pro app to Google / Apple Health you will want to connect immediately.

Here’s how to do it:

  1.  Open the FitTrack Pro

  2. Tap "Me"

  3.  Tap "Sync Health Report." If you have more than one FitTrack Pro user profile, specify which user's data you wish to sync

  4.  Turn on "All Permissions"

  5.  The FitTrack Pro app will now pass your Body Fat %, BMW, Weight, Height, and Lean Body Mass to Apple Health or Google Fit, where it will eventually sync with MyHealth.

  6. Download MyHealth and login using your FitTrack Pro username

  7.  Be sure to sync your Apple or Google Health so MyHealth can successfully pull the data from FitTrack Pro

Q: I seem to be missing data. How do I get it back?

We sincerely apologize for the data loss you experienced. You should have received an email asking you to sync your Apple or Google Health devices ahead of your move to MyHealth. We did this to ensure as much data as possible moved over when you made the switch to MyHealth. The data you see in MyHealth is from the point at which you connected these apps.

Health Score:

What is Health Score?

Developed with leading health experts, your Health Score gives you a holistic and personalized picture of your health. It shows you how healthy you are vs. benchmarks for people similar to you. You can generate your score each week to see how your health is trending, and how your daily habits impact your score. As you incorporate more positive habits, your score will adjust to reflect these changes.

For additional information on Health Score, watch the video here:

How do I view my Health Score?

Your Health score is displayed directly in the FitTrack MyHealth App. To view your Health score, perform the following:

  1. Open the FitTrack MyHealth app

  2. At the top of the MyDay homepage will be a vertical selection bar (see image below)

  3. Select "My Health Score"

Once your Health score is generated, a Health score tile will be created on the MyDay homepage for easy accessibility.

Why does your Health Score matter?

We created Health Score because we believe that better health begins with better understanding. In order to take the right steps in living a healthier life, it’s important to understand what’s working, and what might no longer be serving you on your health journey. By doing so, you are equipped to make better and healthier lifestyle choices that will help you prevent chronic illnesses and increase your quality of life.

What is your Health Score made up of?

Today, you'll see that your Health Score is made up of your Body Composition data from your FitTrack Scale. We believe Body Composition is an important and necessary first step in understanding your health. That's why we utilize the metrics that are collected through your Dara scale when you weigh-in. Remember that in order to get the most accurate Health Score, you’ll need to weigh-in at least twice each week.

Soon, your Health Score will be expanded to include activity, nutrition, sleep and heart health simply by syncing your other health products and devices. These pillars are essential to understanding your holistic health.

Future pillars include:

  1. Movement

  2. Nutrition

  3. Stress

  4. Sleep

You should expect to see these other pillars soon and we promise to keep you posted as we get closer to launching them!

What is your Body Composition Score, and how is it calculated?

Your body composition score will show you exactly how your body is responding to your current diet, activity and lifestyle behaviours.

This is important in helping you understand leading indicators and risks for many chronic health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure or just how you are progressing toward your goals.

You’ll see that it’s out of 100 and summarizes the factors most closely associated with your overall health, including your body weight, BMI, body fat % and more. These metrics along with your age, gender and height are taken together and assessed to provide a meaningful score relative to benchmarks for people similar in age and gender to you.

Accuracy and Confidence of Health Score:

Health Score was designed with health experts to provide you with an accurate representation of your health. You might notice that you can get a Health Score with just one weigh-in. For the most accurate results we ask that you complete 2+ weigh-ins on a weekly basis. The more weigh-ins, the more accurate your score will be. All of your weigh-ins throughout the week are averaged out to provide you with the most accurate picture of how your body is changing while mitigating inevitable daily fluctuations.

Understanding your Health Score

With Health Score, it’s important to consider trends in your score rather than taking a score in isolation. If you receive a score you are unhappy with, don’t be discouraged. Remember that it is more important to see improvements and trends in the right direction through lifestyle changes and action.

Health Score Ranges:

The following chart outlines the ranges for Health Score

How can you improve your Health Score?

In addition to your Health Score, you’ll also see personalized insights about your score, like why it might have decreased from last week, and recommendations to help you improve it. Remember that it’s more important to consider trends in your Health Score rather than looking at one score in isolation. As you action on our recommendations and as we start to understand what type of insights are helpful, we can provide more tailored recommendations to help you achieve your goal. The more you track and action, the more you’ll evolve. And quickly, your score will evolve with it.

Why can't I see daily insights?

You’ll notice that we send weekly insights instead of daily insights. We believe this is what separates us from other health solutions out there. While tracking daily changes can be useful when it comes to fitness; seeing your health trends over longer periods of time is particularly important when looking and understanding leading indicators of certain chronic health conditions. We understand that things like weight, water, and eating habits can change from one day to the next and your health score is calculated with these fluctuations in mind.

My Health Score is out of 900 but my Body Composition score is out of 100 - why?

Your Body Composition score is measured out of 100 to make it easier to understand. Today, since your Health Score uses your Composition Score, we've directly scaled your score out of 900 to your score out of 100. Soon, you’ll see a more comprehensive Health Score to include four other key pillars including movement, nutrition, sleep and stress.
