What is the maximum weight limit supported by the scale?
The scale can support a maximum weight of 400 pounds (181.437 kilograms).
What is the minimum weight recognized by the FitTrack scale?

Which metrics besides weight are displayed on the scale or in the app?
The scale displays the weight and the scale's status, while metrics are only shown in the app.
Is this scale waterproof?
Waterproof level is IPX-3. It is protected against water spraying up to 55 degrees from a vertical position at 9 liters/min with a pressure of 70-95 kN/m2 for six minutes.
Is the scale safe to use?
FitTrack uses Dual Bioelectric Impedance Analysis to measure body fat, which sends a low electrical current through the body when in use. This low electrical current is unnoticeable and is safe for humans.
Should I use the FitTrack smart scale if I have a pacemaker?
The FitTrack smart body scale uses an electrical current during measurements and is therefore not recommended for anyone fitted with a pacemaker or with an implanted medical device.
Is the FitTrack smart scale safe for use by pregnant women?
Pregnant women should consult their physicians before using the FitTrack smart scale. We recommend seeking professional advice before using any health-related devices.
I’m 17 years old, why do I only see readings about my body weight and nothing else?
Only the weight measurement is available for users under 18 years of age since younger users have rapidly changing body characteristics due to active body growth.
Can the scale be used without the app?
Yes, the scale can definitely be used as an ordinary scale. You can choose to use the scale without recording your weight on the app.
Can you give useful tips for first time FitTrack users like me?
- Do not step off the scale or re-position your body before completing the measurement.
- Place the scale on a stable and even surface, such as a tiled floor, to ensure accurate readings.
- For several weigh-ins, please wait two to three seconds between users for the display to turn off.
- Should you need to move your scale for your next measurement, please step on and off the scale quickly.
- The scale display must indicate 0.0 pounds, indicating that the calibration is complete.
Setting Up Your FitTrack
Should the scale require a passkey, what should I enter?
Should your mobile device request a passkey, enter “000000”. You may be required to activate your phone's location service and restart your phone to connect to the scale.
My scale is not connecting to my mobile device, what should I do?
Should your scale not connect to your phone's Bluetooth, reinstall the app or restart the scale. Make sure your iOS or Android device is updated with the latest version.
The scale won’t turn on and the LCD display is blank. What should I do?
Make sure the batteries are installed correctly or replace the batteries.
How do I re-calibrate the scale?
Step on the scale for 1 to 2 seconds and then step off. The scale will automatically re-calibrate and indicate 0.0 pounds.
Measurement Questions
Why does my scale indicate an incorrect weight?
Scenario 1: "The scale indicates a weight differing by between 4 and 5 pounds, and only shows the correct weight once I have stepped off and on several times"
The scale may need to be re-calibrated to show accurate readings. To do this, place the scale on a stable and even surface such as a tiled floor. Step on and off the scale quickly, and it will indicate 0.0 pounds, indicating that the calibration is complete.
Why do the FitTrack Pro app display only my body weight and no other body metrics?
A Bluetooth connection is necessary to record data. Install the FitTrack Pro app and log in. Turn on the Bluetooth on your smartphone and step on the scale with bare feet. The app should indicate “connected” and not “connecting,” and all data should be visible. The scale should now show the Bluetooth logo (“B”) as well as your weight.
If that did not work, try these steps:
- Clean the surface of the scale and underneath your feet with a damp cloth or towel. Metrics may not be measured if the surface of the scale is not clean or the user’s feet are wet.
- Check the age settings in the app. The app will only measure and track users who are over 18 years old. Users under 18 are still growing and experiencing changes in their body, and therefore only their weight can be measured and tracked.
- Make sure your feet have direct contact with the surface of the scale. Please do not wear socks while weighing yourself.
- Double-check whether the plastic film/cover is still covering the scale’s front. This must be removed to avoid interference with the readings.
- Don’t step off the scale too soon. The weighing process is not complete until the progress bar on the display screen flashes three times.
Why does my body composition data differ from those at the gym/clinic?
Don’t worry, this is completely normal! The numbers on your scale may not confer with other measurement methods and professional medical instruments since it is a home-use scale intended for reference.
Your FitTrack scale uses bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA), which is a common method for estimating body composition, particularly body fat. The BIA method is a cost-effective and accurate means to estimate body fat percentage.
Why do %fat, %muscle, and %water comprise 122% of my total body weight?
It is normal for these three indices to add up to more than 100% since water is present in both fat and muscle tissue.
What does the scale measure?
FitTrack Smart Body Scale measures 17 essential health factors including weight, body fat, muscle rate, hydration, bone mass, visceral fat, BMR, BMI, protein, and body age.

Can the FitTrack Scale sync with other apps?
Other apps can be linked to your FitTrack scale such as Apple Health & Google Fit. But to access the functionality as advertised, the FitTrack scale is 100% compatible with Fittrack Pro app. The FitTrack Pro app is specifically developed for FITTRACK scales.
To sync, go to Me—User Settings on your scale and connect to Apple Health, Google Fit, or Fitbit. On an iPhone, Fitbit will sync the latest data only if you exit the Fitbit app (double click the home button and swipe up) and reopen it.
How often should my Bluetooth device (mobile device) be near the scale to maintain my measurement history?
There are two ways to transfer data between the scale and mobile device. If your smart device is near the scale when you weigh yourself, the app will automatically connect to the scale through Bluetooth and immediately transfer body metrics to the device.
Should your mobile device not be with you when you weigh in, the data will be recorded on the scale and sent to the app when the scale and device are connected. The scale can recognize up to 8 users, separately storing up to 1000 sets of data. Please connect your device to the scale before it reaches its data limit.
How does the scale register the weight of different family members?
Each user can sync their own smartphone or share a single app and create profiles in Family Management. If users only have individual profiles in the app, the scale will only sync data to each person’s device.
Can other users see my weight?
Other users will not have access to your data unless you permit them to add your profile to their app. You can use your personal mobile device and app account to maintain privacy.
